If you’re eloping in Las Vegas or even just visiting, I’ll always say a must stop is Fremont Street! The Fremont Street experience is just one you can’t go without. I always recommend that at some point during my time with my couples, we hit up Fremont Street for portraits and some fun! As a Las Vegas elopement photographer whose captured hundreds of elopements, I’m here to give you the best Fremont Street photoshoot locations, experiences, and so much more, so keep scrolling!
Fremont Street really captures the essence of Las Vegas—bright lights, high energy, and all the excitement! Not only is it a favorite location for photos, but it’s well known for it’s iconic light shows, live entertainment, and the vintage Vegas vibes!
Like I said above, Fremont Street is one of my faves for Las Vegas elopement photos! It’s full of great photo spots, and I’m about to share my favorite ones with you as a Las Vegas elopement photographer who’s captured hundreds of elopements right on Fremont Street! So, let’s dive into why these spots are perfect for your Las Vegas elopement!
Nothing says Las Vegas like a photo with the iconic neon sign! The Vegas sign gives all of the vintage vibes, instantly recognizable, and is a great way to kick off our time on Fremont Street. I always love to suggest a few photos in front of it because it really gives that old-school Vegas vibe.
Hot tip: The best time to get photos here is after sunset when the lights of the sign pop up! This can happen even when the sky has a bit of color, or even photos at full night time are amazing, too!
El Cortez is another location that I love for photos! It’s actually one of the oldest casinos in Las Vegas, and it has that classic Vegas aesthetic many love!
Why is it a great spot for your elopement photos? Because it really blends that laid-back vibe with elegance and old Vegas! Plus, it’s not usually too crowded for a few photos.
Okay, so we’re not actually allowed to take photos on Binion’s Rooftop. Butttt I like to be as fast as lightning and capture some fun shots of my couples before we get asked to leave. Binion’s offers a stunning view of downtown Las Vegas with a cool vintage backdrop. I love the colors and textures of the overhead sign, and they really just add that vintage Vegas feel to photos!
Hot tip: We want to be sneaky but respectful! Sometimes it can feel fun sneaking up here for some photos before security asks us to leave!
The Plaza lights, well-known in Las Vegas because they’re picture perfect and because they were featured in The Weeknd’s Heartless music video. What a banger, right? Anyways, I love taking couples here because there’s just something about the glow of those lights! It gives glamour, and I’m so here for that.
Why is it great for portraits? If you want those cinematic vibes with glowing lights that feel high-energy but also romantic, then this is the spot for you!
The glowing sign on Fremont Street is a must! It’s one of the largest and most iconic signs in downtown Vegas, and it’s perfect for some dramatic shots! If you’re looking for photos that really scream “Vegas, baby!” then this is the place to be!
Hot tip: Getting photos at the Fremont Sign are better from a distance so that we can capture the full grandeur of the sign!
Another favorite thing among couples is hitting up the slots at the downtown casinos that are scattered all over Fremont Street! A lot of these casinos are rich in history and character! If you want that neon atmosphere with lights and lively energy, then the casinos might be for you! You can grab a drink, play the slots, or just wander around for some fun shots!
Hot tip: Some casinos let us get shots if we get permission from the marketing manager beforehand. It’s honestly hit or miss. Most of the time I try to sneak a few photos before we get asked to leave.
Another fun spot I recommend couples stopping at (especially if they want a drink) is Carousel Bar at The Plaza! It’s a newer and trendy spot on Fremont Street and is an open-air bar with 360 views of Fremont Street! Not only do they have great drinks, but it’s just an all around fun atmosphere and has those same style of twinkling lights above that just set the tone!
Why is this a great spot for your elopement? The Carousel Bar is a great spot because you can grab a drink, have fun, and soak up the lively energy right on Fremont Street! If you want to add a little bit of playfulness, I definitely recommend this spot!
Looking for a spot to grab a slice and a drink? Evel Pie is an iconic pizza joint in Las Vegas and has some of the best pizza in town! Don’t be shy or feel like you’re wasting your time by stopping to grab some food during your time with me. They often make some pretty cute pictures! Whether you want to dine in or feed each other slices on the curb!
